How our events work
A short set of rules that keeps every gathering welcoming, free, and focused on building. This is the page we point to when someone asks whether an event can be something it is not.
Every event is free
There is no admission, no ticket price, and no upsell. If you can get to the room, you can be in the room.
Nonpartisan, always
Claude Chicago is nonpartisan. We do not host candidate or campaign appearances, we do not endorse candidates, and we do not use events to advance a campaign. The focus stays on building with Claude.
No product sales
Events are for learning and building, not selling. No sales pitches from the stage, no lead capture, no vendor booths working the room. Partners and venues who help are thanked by name, never given a selling slot.
Photo policy
We take photos at events to share recaps and celebrate the community. If you would rather not be photographed, we have no-photo lanyards at the door, and we will honor them. Photos publish only with consent, and anyone can ask us to take a photo of them down.
Code of conduct
Everyone is welcome, from first-timers to seasoned builders, from every side of the city. Treat people with respect. No harassment, no discrimination, no aggressive behavior. If someone makes you uncomfortable, find an ambassador or event helper and we will handle it. People who cannot follow this are asked to leave.
